About Jim

I am James A. (Jim) Worobe, Principal Consultant. I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor's degree in business administration and with a master's degree in business administration and health care management.

I spent my early adult years learning in the school of hard knocks, also referred to as the military. I began in the Army, where I met my wife, and finished my military career in the Naval Reserve.

I grew up in Hawaii, and I returned there after my enlistment in the Army, and my wife and I started a business. The economy, isolation, and Operation Dessert Storm joined forces in 1991, and I found myself moving to Maine.

I have worked in community-based Mental Health, Clinical Laboratory Management, Fire Fighting, Law Enforcement, Insurance Sales, Emergency Medical Services, and Adult Education.

Once I decided that I had "grown-up," I gravitated toward Health Care Administration. In January 2006, I was offered and accepted a position as the EMS Systems Coordinator and Communications Coordinator for a five-county EMS region in the Central California Valley, and in 2007, I became the Deputy Director for that region.

I left that position, and now I am using my experience to help others protect their incomes, their homes, and their retirements. I became a specialist in Federal Employee Benefits in December of 2015 and State Employee Retirement, specifically CalSTRS and CalPERS.

I moved to Washington in 2017 and have made that my home.
